This course prepares confirmation candidates through short questions and answers covering the foundations of the faith, the Church Year, the Old and New Testaments, the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds, the Sacraments, the general services of the Church, church ornaments and ceremonial, and a sketch of Church history from the Apostles to the American Prayer Book — closing with a glossary of terms and a note on Prayer Book words that have changed meaning. Two addendum sections treat Church ornaments, vestments, and ceremonial separately for General Anglican and Anglo-Catholic practice.
The material is available in two forms: a slide deck for classroom teaching, and a study guide arranged as continuous, searchable prose for a candidate's own reading and review. Both cover the same questions and answers.
